Artist Roberta Williams lives in Iowa City, Iowa. She received her degree in Art from the University of Iowa in 1982. Roberta opened her decorative painting business in 1994, "The Interior Artist." A painting class in Italy in 1998 inspired her most recent endeavor, "Sacred Works: Variations of the Virgin Mary." In these pieces she captures the look of Old-World frescoes she viewed in the villas, churches, and museums in Rome. Roberta’s Catholic background has also helped determine the direction of her work.
